What Is A "Musicianary"?
A musicianary is one who spreads the gospel through song and word in a fulltime ministry. Missionaries are called to spread the gospel in many different ways, such as planting churches in other countries, and preaching and teaching in foreign Bible schools. A musicianary evangelizes through music.
We were called to a "mission" to reach the world for Christ and have a heart for ministry to strengthen the believer. When words fail, music speaks to the heart! A message through music can share a thousand sermons, and many lives have been changed through a song.
Billy and Paula Speer's vision, after 30 years of full time music ministry, is to give back to others who embark on a wonderful adventure through music, and to share experiences with them. Their vision is now becoming a reality, perpetuating their mission beyond themselves, as God would lead them. Missions Through Music is musical evangelism; sharing the gospel and making disciples through music.
Musicianaries will be working in and through local churches in ministry and raising support just like a missionary who is sent and sponsored by a local church. Missions Through Music plans to use various musical ministries to spread the Good News by working with other evangelists, preachers, and mission projects in promoting the gospel.
Missions Through Music is a non-profit mission organization created so that vocalists, instrumentalists, sight and sound technicians, drama teams, and other musical artists would be able to serve with accountability under the umbrella of a mission organization. This new non-profit mission would help equip, train, administer and promote missionaries on an ongoing basis. Many music ministries struggle to make it on their own. They spend countless hours on the road, Scheduling music engagements, and feeling isolated from other Christians. In today's environment it is very difficult to meet the ongoing challenges of ministry with all of its demands.
Billy and Paula have experienced these struggles, and wanted to find a way to pull people together, to strengthen one another, and provide a network of ministries.

Inc., is a new global missions opportunity for those who feel called by God into full time

The goal of Missions Through Music is to evangelize and spread the Good News through music in
the United States and Canada. This involves sharing our faith with people who need the Lord,
and discipling and encouraging fellow Christians. We believe the Lord calls us to plant the
seed and make the most of every opportunity. We know that as a result of the seeds we plant
that there will be a great multitude that no one can count, from every nation, tribe, people
and language standing before the Lamb on His throne as stated in Revelation chapter seven.
